Interview Techniques and Placement papers

You can find lot of these details any where on internet but Campuspioneer will give you a real experience of an Interview. Let us concentrate on important things that we should follow when we are preparing for an Interview and when we are facing an Interview.

These are all general points but will be very useful for freshers.

Preparation for Interview:

> The first and the most important thing is: find out details about the company you are approaching.
> Collect details about the Founder,CEO and the achievements of the company.
> Check out company profile , its future plans and their product areas. Make sure that the profile of company matches your interests.

> Generally every company as part of their interview procedure will have written , technical and HR rounds.
> Collect recent placement papers/model papers about that company and start working on it. Mostly these questions will be repeated with different numbers. If not , at least the concepts will be similar.
> Work on your resume and make sure that what ever written in your resume precise and perfect.
> Get ready for many questions from your resume. Project/Internship details, Strong areas, Programming skills, hobbies will be general target of an interviewer. So try to questions your self or take help of your friend/colleague to check what are the questions they are going to ask if they look at that resume.
> On exam day, maintain your calm, work on your strengths. I am sure you are going to do great if you have followed above steps.

Appearance:

> As usual you should look professional. You may think that how does my dress resembles my knowledge. It may not resemble your knowledge but it will definitely resemble your preparedness and your commitment.

Technical Interview:

> First and the important point is , remember that there is no need for you to answer each and every question. Don't get panic if you haven't answered few questions. Try to show your strengths and give more analytical answers when you know the answer perfectly. Try to discuss more on known answers. Be confident.

> Most of the times interviewer will try to confuse you by repeatedly asking the question though you have given right answer. If you are sure about the answer just stick to it.

> If you are unsure about the answer you can make a guess but your guess should not give a chance to interviewer to dig one more question.

> If you are 100% not aware of answer it is better to say , do not have an idea. Most of the time try to give close answers.

> to be continued..
